Lingering showers and a few rumbles of thunder are expected this morning south of HWY 29. Periods of moderate to heavy rain return Wed and continue into Thu. The region is expected to turn dry by the end of the week. Temps are forecast to return to the 80s by this weekend. #wiwx

In addition to the heavy rain potential there will be a brief window for severe storms to develop Thursday afternoon/evening. Strong wind gusts will be the main concern with any storms that do develop. Hail and localized flooding will also be possible. #wiwx

5:50 PM | Radar Update Scattered storms producing heavy rainfall continue to develop/move into central & east-central WI, while an area of rain is moving into north-central WI, with some embedded lightning. However, the overall severe weather threat is diminishing. #wiwx
