There is now a 60% chance of tropical cyclone formation in the next 7 days in regards to the tropical wave over the Yucatan Peninsula. An increased risk of coastal flooding, rip currents, and heavy rain are expected as we head through the weekend and into next week. #stxwx #txwx

4 PM Update: The Gale Warning has been extended through 9 PM this evening for high northeast winds. Small Craft Advisory will go into effect tonight at 7 PM and will remain in effect through 7 PM Sunday.
