11/20 8:20 AM Update: We've extended this Dense Fog Advisory through 10 AM, mainly for the counties within the CSRA due to visibilities remaining at a 1/4 mile or less in spots. Newberry, Saluda, Lexington, and Orangeburg Counties have been removed from the advisory. #scwx #gawx

Columbia reached 81° today which tied the daily record high for the day (which occurred in both 1947 and 2011). Augusta's high temperature of 84° broke the daily record set in 1947. Above average warmth continues into tomorrow with highs around 80° once again. #scwx #gawx

There is a line of showers pushing into the western Midlands and upper CSRA late this morning but with little instability available, stronger winds are not mixing down with gusts to 20-30 mph possible along with some much needed rain.  Line should weaken as it moves east. #scwx
