Check out the water temps (last line on each buoy report) for Edgewater, Euclid, and Fairport Harbor. The strong NE winds from Thu. and rough conditions caused upwelling along the shore and dropped surface water temps from near 80F down into the 60s! Be careful if venturing out!

An Air Quality Advisory for ground level ozone has been issued by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for today for portions of Northeast Ohio. Air quality levels will be unhealthy for sensitive groups during this period.

3:10 PM August 5 | Seasonable temperatures continue tonight and Wednesday, with a slight increase in humidity ongoing. A few pop-up showers are possible this evening (most will stay dry), with a slightly greater scattering expected on Wednesday. #OHwx #PAwx

A trough over the Ohio Valley will allow for some showers and storms to form and lift north into Northwest Ohio. Temperatures will be near normal in the 80s.

Temperatures will warm to near 90 degrees by Sunday. Dry conditions will continue for most of the area until late Monday into Tuesday when a front brings increasing chances for thunderstorms.
