Once again today, severe thunderstorms have avoided our region thankfully! Severe threat today has shifted into the south central and southeast U.S. Only a marginal threat for severe thunderstorms remains across our region for later today/this evening.

Thunderstorms will be possible across the area today. The highest probability for thunderstorms will be east of the mountains, but there is a potential for thunderstorms areawide. Storms today will be capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.

Expect another potentially busy afternoon and evening Wednesday as storms develop ahead of a cold front. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threats, but cannot rule out an isolated tornado.
