We all know that biology is the study of life, and what is more essential to life than food and social interactions? Therefore, the biology club is putting on a pizza and game night! All are welcome, and we hope to see you there!

Dr. MacKay's Animal Behavior class explored the stunningly beautiful Salt Plains Wildlife Refuge this week! The students watched different duck species in the refuge and documented what parts of the habitat the birds utilized.

Stop whatever you're doing and mark your calendars! The Chem Club is in desperate need of investigators to solve a mystery happening on campus this Thursday. Also, be sure to bring a dish for everyone to eat, as murder investigations are known to make the detectives quite munchy

determine how the fear response of aquatic snails is impacted by the snails' environment. The students got to choose the environmental change, so along with a control group, snails are being subjected to heat, salt, Red Bull, and ethanol. We can't wait to see the results!

Yesterday's solar eclipse event put on by our own Dr. Sattler and the math department's Dr. Riegel was definitely a smash hit! Students, faculty, administrators, and the local public all came out to watch the eclipse through glasses, pinhole cameras, and even a telescope!

Dr. Robida's anatomy class is using clay to actually build a human body! It's a great hands-on learning opportunity for the students, and incredibly fun for bystanders to watch the progress. Stop by and see in the cabinets between 208 and 211! You won't regret it!

The Science department will definitely be represented at tonight's Carnival! Our Medical Sciences Club is having a yard pong or play trivia for a chance to pie the Biology Club Co-Sponsors, Drs. Ledbetter and MacKay, in the face if you can beat them.

While all 12 of these students are undoubtedly amazing, we might be a little biased for our 2 students from the Department of Natural Science, Jillian Bouse, who is majoring in Biology, and Jadyn Budig, who is double majoring in Biology and Chemistry! Huge congratulations!
