Unfortunately the cup game was abandoned due to bad weather, Frustratingly the chance to retain our trophy came down to a coin toss, which we lost. Good luck to Norton Oakes Cricket Club in the next round.

Some good news for NWCC, the 2s played their first game in the Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League league and won by 66 runs!

IF the weather plays ball, Saturday will see the first senior game being played at Matthews Lane. The 1sts take on (P)enistone CC, 50 overs starting at 12.00

The 1st team marked the 1st game at Matthews Lane with a victory in a game featuring 9 LBW's! We made 114, before resticting Penistone to 43 in reply. Dave Thorpe rolled back the decades with 7-16 in 14.3 overs.

Let's hope the thunderstorms stay away and the juniors can get a game in tonight.

And after 6 and a bit overs, a storm did arrive. Although the rain stopped, flashes of lightning meant the game was abandoned. It just wasn't worth the risk. Hopefully we'll get to replay it.

An unwelcome double double as the 1sts and 2nds both lose for the 2nd week on the trot. Some good individual performances despite the defeats.

But on the plus side, several kids will play their 1st ever game of cricket when the under 9's play tomorrow afternoon. That's what it's all about

Our under 11's are in action tonight at 6PM as we entertain Hundall. Hopefully we avoid the thunder and lightning this week

Rockingham CCC are honoured to be hosting the Zimbabwe ‘A’ team this Sunday. The 45 over game will start at 12pm on Sunday 11th August. The Zimbabwe team are currently touring the UK and have welcomed the opportunity to play a game at Rockingham.
