Great piece by Geoff Russ 🍁: “Encountering a good, law-abiding citizen who is empowered to protect themselves and others should terrify criminals. Every would-be burglar, carjacker, and abuser should know that he is taking his life into his own hands the moment he violates a

Eby is suddenly speaking up about our country’s reckless immigration levels. But just last summer, even as he admitted it was overwhelming the system, he was still calling Canada’s disastrously-high immigration numbers “great” and “exciting” and “necessary.”

Howe Sound boaters: pay attention. A new BC–Squamish Nation deal’s marine planning provisions could mean new restrictions on boating, anchoring, or shoreline access in Howe Sound. The agreement even commits government to “withdraw foreshore from disposition.” Plain English? ⬇️

In this interview with Jas Johal, Mayor Malcolm Brodie of Richmond implores the BC & federal governments to stop restricting their lawyers from making their best arguments to protect private property & the public interest. “You either have Aboriginal title or you have

One has to wonder how the Haida Nation (to its credit) found the time to put out 2 media statements on this, while the BC government - to my knowledge at least - has been completely silent? This is a matter of major public interest and British Columbians deserve to know.

The BC government put out no less than 4 news releases today. But, 72 hours later, still nothing on the significant declaration by the BC Supreme Court re: Haida Gwaii. The only reason we know anything at all is due to media statements issued last week by the Haida Nation.

‼️A must-read from VaughnPalmer on the NDP’s drastic Heritage Conservation Act amendments that will have a “sweeping impact on the development of public and private land.” I came to a similar conclusion on this issue last week: x.com/nvancaroline/s… Eby is moving with

I am genuinely shocked that, after a significant BC Supreme Court declaration 4 DAYS AGO, the only public reference to it whatsoever from the BC government is a post on X that contains substantial inaccuracies. Still no public notification of what exactly the Court declared &

If the minister refers to 1st Reading vote on Apr 22, it would be disingenuous – it's parliamentary courtesy to not oppose a bill on introduction. By May 15, Opposition MLAs had read, debated & voiced concerns, which govt didn't address, so they voted against it on 3rd Reading.

We must all strongly denounce the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Political violence is NEVER justified. The attacker must be brought to justice. And free speech must be upheld. Pray for Mr. Kirk and his family.

If you’re worried about what UNDRIP/DRIPA means for BC (which you should be!) consider supporting PHARA in their constitutional challenge against it. Your property rights, your access to public land, and your democratic rights are at stake, and the BC government is
