Another month and another record broken! In March, the NV Sec of State Business Licensing Portal recorded just over $21 million in revenue - shattering the previous monthly record by $2 million. Nevada is excited and ready to bring in more business!

Great news! Congress approved an additional $4 million investment in Project Orion, our overhaul of the business licensing portal. This will go a long way towards improving the climate for businesses to grow our state’s economy!

The Secretary of State's Office received confirmation that all polling locations across Nevada are closed, all voters have voted and unofficial results are now live on SilverStateElection.NV.gov.

Did you know? By statute, results for elections in Nevada cannot be released until all polls are closed and all voters have voted!

Results will be uploaded on SilverStateElection.NV.gov.

MYTH: State law barred candidates from participating in both the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) & NVGOP caucus.

FACT: The PPP is an election regulated by state & federal law; the caucus is not. Any candidate had the opportunity to file for candidacy for the PPP.

Every election worker I meet, whether they’ve been a volunteer for 20 years or two weeks, has one thing in common: their passion for democracy. (And a smiling face as voters show up at the polls!!)

MYTH: I cannot change my party affiliation during the #2024PresidentialPreferencePrimary .

FACT: Nevada allows for same-day registration and changing of party registration up until the close of polls.

MYTH: The Secretary of State could cancel the Republican Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) if he wanted to.

FACT: No, the PPP is required by NV law. Several Republican candidates filed to appear on the PPP ballot, making it necessary for the state to hold a Republican PPP.

MYTH: If you don't vote in the Presidential Preference Primary, your voter registration will be canceled.

FACT: No. Active registered voters who do not vote in this election will remain active registered voters.
