Yesterday, NVCOG’s Environmental Planning Director toured the Kinneytown property with Save the Sound , GEI, and STIMSON landscape architects. GEI is responsible for the design of the dam removal, and STIMSON will design the Naugatuck River Greenway Trail section through the site.

Thomaston’s gardens are a true community effort. Since 1988, the Thomaston Beautification Committee has led the way in maintaining 13 gardens across town. Last week, NVCOG staff joined in by planting native species at the Town Hall gardens.🌱
