A ceremony of signing the agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the United Nations on holding the #WUF13 in #Baku has been held.

The agreement was signed by the Chairman of AR Dövlət Şəhərsalma və Arxitektura Komitəsi Anar Guliyev and the Executive Director of the @Unhabitat Maimunah Mohd Sharif.

At the 3rd session of the Executive Board of the UN-Habitat Program (@UNHabitat) held in Kenya, it was announced that the 13th #WorldUrbanForum (WUF13) will be held in Baku in 2026.

I’m glad to announce that 2 Azerbaijani experts, nominated by our State Committee (AR Dövlət Şəhərsalma və Arxitektura Komitəsi) were selected to be members of Expert Working Group (31 experts from 24 country) to develop International #guidelines on people-centered #SmartCities .
