Persons with disabilities need to be part of the #UgandaCensus2024 so that accurate data is captured. The last population census indicated persons with disabilities statistics to be around 5.8m which is about 12.4% of the total population. We anticipate this number to increase.

We do appreciate UBOS Uganda Bureau of Statistics for capturing most of the disability categories in this year's household questionnaire tool. This is a call to enumerators to kindly capture this information to have accurate data about persons with disabilities. #Census2024Ug Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development

SAD MOMENT: The CEO Esther Kyozira & NUDIPU family join to mourn with the family of Mr Joseph Ddungu a long serving colleague who passed on today morning. His demise is a great loss to the organisation as he was a loyal person serving as the Office Assistant for 27 years.

Our team recently met with NUDIPU to discuss the next steps of phase 3 implementation for the ICT4 PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES program that will mainly focus on digital literacy for PWDs in at least 26 districts of Uganda.
