Congratulations to Håkon Nygård from NTNU_EPT who successfully defended his #PhD thesis! He is the first doctoral candidate to graduate from NTNU Turbulent Combustion Lab! His thesis (ntnuopen.ntnu.no/ntnu-xmlui/han…) contains some really interesting findings relating to annular #gasturbine combustors.

What a great month! Thomas Indlekofer from NTNU_EPT just successfully defended his #PhD thesis, becoming the second doctoral graduate from NTNU Turbulent Combustion Lab! His thesis (ntnuopen.ntnu.no/ntnu-xmlui/han…) contains some really interesting work on #hydrogen combustion dynamics in annular geometry.

If the sun doesn't shine, or the wind suddenly drops then #gasturbine engines can quickly pick up the load. New findings by Byeonguk from NTNU_EPT show how dynamic ramping can affect the stability of #hydrogen blended flames in our IPA rig. #ERC_Research asmedigitalcollection.asme.org/gasturbinespow…

Congratulations to Eirik Æsøy and Philip Buschmann from NTNU_EPT and NTNU Turbulent Combustion Lab who both successfully defended their #PhD theses last week! Fantastic work on #hydrogen combustion and thermoacoustics! For details on their work: hdl.handle.net/11250/2838552 hdl.handle.net/11250/2838634
