The blue dress in this photograph was purchased from Haslets in Weybridge, Surrey. Both dresses were worn between 1959 and 1961.

The first photograph shows Lucinda wearing the pink dress her mother made for her- ‘I can remember her sewing the frills for the sleeves’ she recalls. (1/2)

What a great day of analytical earthwork survey training at Killerton!
National Trust staff and HART volunteers and Exeter Archaeology staff received training from Olaf and Nathalie of HE Archaeology, thanks to funding from University of Exeter Bridging Communities Funding.
What could be better for sun and showers on an April day than this little coat dress?
Made by Marks and Spencer in the Swinging Sixties, the special water repellent fabric was ideal for early Spring.
