This was a few minutes ago near Waverly. Much of I-80 between Lincoln and Omaha is now under a Tornado Warning.

With that last nasty taste of winter a couple of weeks ago Trp Sporer ( #NSP290 ) was notified of a couple people stranded in the snow storm along Hwy 71 in Banner County.
Today he received some kind words of appreciation from the folks he went to help.

This afternoon Trp Sporer assisted the American Legion with interviews for the #JuniorLawCadet applicants.
This program allows high school students between their junior and senior years to experience a little bit of the Nebraska State Patrol academy in June.

The procession for fallen Ceresco PD Officer Ross Bartlett has concluded.

The line of vehicles stretched for about a mile. Thank you to Lincoln Police Omaha Police Dept Lancaster County Sheriff Ceresco PD, Ceresco Fire, @NECorrections and more for helping escort Officer Bartlett today.

The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a serious crash that occurred after 7:30 p.m. tonight on Highway 77 just south of Ceresco. There are multiple vehicles involved, including a Ceresco Police Cruiser.
