Our government created the Sustainable Communities Challenge Fund to support community-led action and leadership. This afternoon in Mahone Bay with my colleagues Becky Druhan, Susan Corkum Greek and Danielle Barkhouse we announced $ 2.45 million in funding for 7 projects from Baddeck to Bridgewater.
That is why we created Sustainable Communities Challenge Fund in order to help communities take action. Communities have the best local knowledge and ideas of what is needed.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of joining Minister Timothy Halman, the team at NS Environment and Climate Change and more to announce funding for 7 different projects, totaling $2.4M to combat and prepare for climate change.

This past Friday, we were pleased to join Minister Jill Balser in announcing $152,365 in funding for the Belliveau Cove Development Commission and Minister Colton LeBlanc in announcing $98,475 in funding for the Société Historique Acadienne de Pubnico Ouest.
