#GOTD - Our Oldest Blunderbuss. On Valentine's Day, wouldn't you be thinking about old blunderbusses? Our information from the donor indicates this smoothbore was likely repaired in Mexico and was a California estate gun that dated back into the later 1600s.

#GOTD-Acrylic Winchester 52 Rifle. This gun is clearly a Winchester Model 52 bolt-action rifle, fitted with a transparent acrylic stock. Evidently on the firing line, this rifle was a real head-turner, resulting in its owner receiving a variety of trophies and shooting medals.

#GOTD -The Reid Knuckleduster. Over 50% of this company's production run was in .22 rimfire and from 1868 to 1882, just over 10,600 of these revolvers were manufactured. The trade called them knuckle-dusters, but the company itself advertised them only as "Knucklers."

#GOTD - The Perry Self-Priming Rifle. This breechloader was supposedly made for an expedition to South America. It was manufactured in Newark, NJ in the late 1850s and its innovative reservoir priming system would have allowed for some quick shooting when needed.
