As highlighted in this video, Roundstone Bog within Connemara Bog Complex SAC is very special for many reasons. One of 55 SAC designated for blanket bog in the country where we are targeting restoration works in the coming years.

We have completed our second contractor restoration session facilitated by @BordnaMona, Coillte & National Parks and Wildlife Service. Participating operators have spent much of their careers working in wetland areas, are highly skilled and vital to delivery of restoration over the next decades
