Kindergarten is participating in a community service project. We will be selling candy grams for $1.00. The money raised will be donated to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. Sales will begin on January 29th and end on February 14th. Thank you for your support!

What a great pep rally for our Colts and a fantastic way to end our George Washington Carver week! 💚📚💚

On Wednesday night Carver families spent an evening of fun at the Newmarket McDonald’s for our McMath and Reading night. Students received a free book and meal coupon sponsored by The Links, Inc. and won some cool prizes that were sponsored by McDonald’s.

On Wednesday, 5 of our Colts represented Carver at the 2025 Newport News Star Award. The STAR (Students Taking Action and Responsibility) The Elementary STAR Awards will recognize the works of service performed by the collective body of each school. Great job Colts! 💚⭐️⭐️

We had so much fun at our Field Day today. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers for helping us make this a great day for our students! 💚💚☀️

We had a blast during our pep rally to gear up our students for SOL testing. You got this Colts! 💚📚

Carver PEEP students celebrated a few Kindergarten promotions and end of the year accomplishments. We are so proud of all their achievements. 💚💚💚

Through our summer reading initiative, as a way to keep our students engaged during the summer months, ALL Carver students were able to select a book and writing journal to stay creative and help maintain literacy skills! 💚📚
