Over 80 soloists and conductors make their Proms debut this year. Some of the ones I’m particularly excited about: Bruce Liu, Aigul Akhmetshina and the inspirational Nicholas McCarthy, who performs Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand on the opening weekend of the festival.
