I read on here all the time that nobody can find reviewers and PIs don't have time. As a postdoc, I do have time and would review things. I haven't gotten a request in a year. Asking 3 other postdocs and same story. Why aren't postdocs asked to review more?

Yesterday I was asked: “what are the 5 things you think everyone needs to know?” So, I thought I’d share them here too: 1. This chart from the IPCC 6th Assessment Synthesis report, released this week, shows just how far away we are from limiting warming to below 2C: (1/11)

A central goal with my students is to help them find & actively look for climate hope. Finding doom is easy. Finding & building hope takes action & community. Students, already linked in the community of a classroom, just need to see themselves as a unit of collective strength

Do you love data science and want to cry? Do you want to see the UGLIEST #rstats plot to ever exist? Look no further because my students crushed their good plot/bad plot assignment and really took making the worst plots possible to heart. #ggplot🧵⬇️

Two papers recently published in nature by Melanie Kazenel and Guillaume Ghisbain suggest a scary future for bees. Likely a few species will fair better, and the authors suggest helpful solutions. But...it's not looking great. We need to act fast y'all.
