From the beginning of #NinjagoDragonsRising S2 #conceptart last week, to the end. This key visual was the final piece done in the #ninjago design team before we went to develop the final sets and Doc Wyatt, Kevin Burke and WildBrain took over and finalized their magic.

#ninjago #conceptart ! Early in developing #NinjagoDragonsRising S. 2, we liked the idea of Ras with a dojo of his own. This was one of the first artworks for the season: The Gong of Shattering as a massive centerpiece in Ras dojo, where striking it would release terrible powers.

It’s that time of year again! I’m excited for people to see the new wave of #Ninjago sets. This year, we have 3 waves. This one is mostly centered around our new mix-and-mech play concept. Each of the 4 mechs can be customized with parts of the others.

I've been wanting to do the #ninjago #lloyd and #arin team mech for a while and finally sat down for a 100 minutes no-sketch-lets-see-where-this-goes session.
Good fun showing a mech I really dig. (Sure, I have a small work credit on it, still I unapologetically think it's cool.)
