On 4 May, the Kingdom of the Netherlands commemorates all civilians and soldiers who lost their lives in wars and peacekeeping missions since the WWII. At 8pm CEST, we observe two minutes of silence to honour their sacrifice and reflect on the importance of freedom and peace.

We gathered together today on #RemembranceDay to honor the members of the Dutch armed forces and civilians who have died in wars or crisis-management operations since WWII. The ceremony was accompanied by the Regimentsfanfare 'Garde Grenadiers en Jagers' from the Netherlands, our NL Defense Attaché - USA, and defense partners.
