Fourteen Meters would probably drown us, but indeed L. Victoria receives over 80% of its water from rainfall. Whenever rainfall volume increases, L. Victoria water volume also increases.

Degradation of Nakiyanja wetland halted. There's a trick developers 'used to use'! They'd seek permission to use a small piece of land and then use that as cover to extend into wetlands. Map below demonstrates it well. That will be no more & shame on them.

National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) has commended the Church for efforts aimed at envt protection. In his March 28 Easter message, the Archbishop Kaziimba Mugalu, said: 'We need to preserve and conserve our environment but more so protecting our lands from land grabbers by planting trees.'
