UPDATE - OFFICER SHOT The wounded Perth Amboy detective was shot 3 times in Rahway. His fellow detectives took quick actions to save his life. We are thankful for the outpouring of support. The detective is in stable condition.

UPDATE OFFICER SHOT We are counting our blessings this morning that our Perth Amboy Detective is going to recover. He was shot 3 times. His fellow officers took quick actions to prevent tragedy. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at RWJUH for their excellent care.

So grateful to the officers and first responders on the scene and the world-class professionals at RWJUH. Prayers for a full, fast recovery for the Detective who was wounded. We owe such a debt to those who put it on the line every day to keep us safe.

UPDATE ON OFFICER SHOT - We are thrilled to report our hero Perth Amboy Detective, who was shot 3 times last week, has been released from the hospital. 150 officers greeted him as he left the hospital headed to rehab. He still has a long road ahead. So thankful for his recovery.
