Why is Booking.com customer service just the worst to deal with. Paid for my hotel a month ago and the money hasn’t been passed on, so I’m now being thrown out of my hotel for not paying - even though I’ve paid!

Be careful all. Made a complaint to Booking.com and was suddenly inundated with various customer service people offering to help to process my refund. Was even verbally abused by one member claiming to be a customer service rep.
