Mrs. Moodie’s 2nd gr had a blast testing out their 3D printed bubble wands. They designed them on Tinkercad & we tested them to see if the bubbles will still come out round if the shape is not a circle & why that happens. Our admin even joined in the fun with their own wands.

Reading Rocks during our Kindergarten Town Meeting! They taught the school about syllables, punctuation, CVC words & sentences. They danced & sang & rocked the school! Great job Buckaroos!! Great job Kinder teachers!

I had a 5th grade STEM ASSISTANT for half the day. He welcomed students into the room, organized my grant supplies into tubs, & helped kinder, 1st & 2nd navigate Tinkercad. Brady you were a huge help. I think I need a full time assistant. 🧐 I wonder how to make that happen!

These sweet Beard Elementary 3rd graders completed their “ Egg-naut” drop! Many eggs survived and a few are in need of a band-aid! Good times! #stemrocks

Our 5th graders put on a fabulous Town Meeting today themed End of an Era. There was even a TAYLOR sighting for the “Swifties” who thought they heard it was The Eres Tour! Mr. Taylor looks great in his blonde wig. Our 5th grade teachers did an amazing job organizing the show.

4th graders Beard Elementary had a blast making BrushBots! We used a toothbrush head, battery, & vibrating motor. Add some pipe cleaners if it won’t stay upright & googly eyes to complete the bot! 3 days left & we are still building!! Northside ISD
