Day one of #NIOA24 in the books!

Happy Monday from the National Information Officers Association conference! #NIOA2024

Day 2 of #NIOA2024 is off and running with the presentation of colors by the Clearwater PD Honor Guard and the pledge of allegiance lead by Secretary Anna Huffman and greetings from Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector and Police Chief Eric Gandy. 🇺🇸

Day 2: Session 2 - PIO Power Play: Strengthening Communications through Collaboration with Ryan L. Whittington, Ocean City Fire Dept. and Ashley Miller, Ocean City Police Dept. #NIOA2024

Day 2 was a full day which included sessions on crisis management, the use of Canva, and the introduction of our Vice Presidential candidates! Our amazing sponsors also introduced themselves. #NIOA2024

Final Day at #NIOA2024 and what a start! Congratulations to all the NIOA Award Winners, including those from #Region4 🎉🎉 The first session by @ABHudsonHPD featured an interactive group work! Lots of productive discussions from #Region4 and all the groups! National Information Officers Association

#NIOA2024 Day 3 was a packed day of sessions, from TikTok to social media best practices, to the infamous spy balloon incident. We also heard from the team that coordinated the deadly 2019 Lee County Tornado. The night concluded with a little karaoke.
