A UK-US collaboration continues to support the next generation of cancer research leaders. UK researchers can apply for a funded placement at a leading US cancer research institute.

The award is a partnership between NIHR, @the_MRC and NIH.

This NIHR Research-funded trial found that giving out free e-cigarette starter packs in A&E departments to smokers helps more people quit.

6 months after their visit, almost 1 in 4 people given the starter packs said they had quit smoking.
