I want to thank the NH Grocers Association for the opportunity to speak at their annual #GovernmentDay event this morning where I gave them updates regarding NH House initiatives.

Demolition of the former DOJ/NH Savings Bank bldg. continues. A time capsule placed by Harold H. Blake (chairman of the board of NH Savings Bank) in 1958 was revealed in one of the cornerstone blocks. There were lots of neat things inside, and a great blast into the past!

Yesterday I welcomed two new Granite State Ambassadors to the New Hampshire House! Please say 'hello' to our newest Ambassadors when you see them in the hallways or on a tour!

*Bonus - they're both from Londonderry which happens to be my favorite town. 😉

Last night, I presented a House Commendation to the Londonderry High School Hockey team. I was joined by my fellow colleagues - Reps. MacDonald, Dunn, Thomas, Dolan & Lundgren. We are so proud of this team & coaching staff for their well-earned D1 Championship win! What a season!👏

Last night, I spoke to a state politics class at UNC-Greensboro about the NH legislature and the bipartisan work that we have accomplished so far. Thanks to Thom Little, PhD, Director/teacher at UNC-Greensboro for the invite. I love sharing the great things happening in #NH !

We have many people who visit the New Hampshire House and yesterday I met with a group of Justices of the Peace who are from different areas of the state. I found out our Visitor Center Director, Virginia Drew, is also a Justice of the Peace!

I had a great time talking to the students from Londonderry about the New Hampshire House! They had great questions for myself and my colleagues, Reps. Doug Thomas and Wayne MacDonald.

Last week, I met with the Friends Forever International group who were on a tour of the New Hampshire House. We had a good discussion about how the #NH legislature works!

I met with the Honorable Marjorie Porter and Martha Madsen to discuss New Hampshire Together. This initiative is helping people come together as a community, putting aside party loyalty, and forging the way toward real systematic change here in #NH !

The #NHHouse showed up to support the Greater Salem NH BGC at today's John P. Ganley St. Patrick's Day Luncheon! This great event pays tribute to its namesake, the late Chief John P. Ganley, and honors individuals who embody the spirit of community service.

Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming members of Volunteer NH and AmeriCorps to the State House. They do great work in #NH , and this week marks their 30th Anniversary! It's orgs. like this that make a lasting impact on our communities! 👏

Today, Chris Sununu signed SB 317, an act relative to establishing a New Hampshire-Ireland Trade Council - legislation I'm proud to have co-sponsored with Sens. Carson and Soucy and Senate President Jeb Bradley as the prime sponsor. I'm glad Senator Mark Daly joined us online! 🇺🇸🇮🇪

Leadership & Reps from the Manchester delegation met with Jay Ruais Jay Ruais today. We talked about bail reform & other important issues that affect Manchester. Building strong relationships is integral to the legislative process & ensures positive outcomes for our citizens.

I love talking about the great bipartisan work happening in Concord, and engaging with organizations like NH Bankers. They are here today at the #NHStateHouse learning about the legislative process as part of their yearly event, Capitol Day.

Last week we welcomed David Rutley MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, to the #NHHouseofReps , where we talked about our strong partnership & shared goals. He was joined by UK Consulate Boston Consul-General Peter Abbott OBE & Deputy Consul-General Tom Nickalls.

Gov. Sununu's State of the State was a positive note summing up the great work being done to keep #NH competitive and remain the best state in which to live and work.

My takeaway: We will never sit back and follow - we will always lead.

Rep. Doug Thomas and I sat down with Chuck Morse on Londonderry's #LACTV and had a great conversation about some of the legislation being discussed in Concord. We also talked about policies that affect all Granite Staters and a look ahead to the future.

Today I introduced SB 317-FN, relative to establishing a NH-Ireland trade council on behalf of prime sponsor Jeb Bradley Bradley. I then had the chance to sub on House State-Fed Relations & Veterans Affair Committee and vote. I don't think I've done double duty like that in a while!
