A2: In addition to training healthcare providers in cultural competence, there also needs to be an expansion of community-based education programs that teach the Latino community about cancer prevention and healthcare resources #SaludTues #LatinoCancer

A3: To combat obesity and cancer risk, promote healthy eating, physical activity, and weight management programs in communities and workplaces. Additionally, train healthcare providers to recognize obesity-related issues to address concerns early on #SaludTues #LatinoCancer

A4: To improve cancer outcomes for Latinos, healthcare must be affordable, accessible, and culturally competent. More data collection and research will help identify ways to reduce socioeconomic factors and create programs that focus on cancer screenings and education. #SaludTues

A5: Patient advocates can bridge language and cultural gaps, ensuring Latino patients understand their care through translation and culturally relevant explanations. Their unique perspectives can help tailor care plans to individual needs. #CancerTues #LatinoCancer

A6: While lack of awareness among the Latino community about clinical trials is an issue, there are also logistical barriers obstructing participation. Including financial constraints for transportation, time off of work, and fear of repercussions due to their immigration status.

A7: By increasing awareness through targeted outreach, providing Spanish-language materials, and building trust with community leaders. There's also a need to address immigration concerns, offer flexible scheduling, and cover trial-related expenses. #SaludTues #LatinoCancer
