This week 𝔼. 𝔸. 𝕃𝕒𝕟𝕖𝕪 ℍ𝕚𝕘𝕙 𝕊𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕠𝕝 Buccaneers began exploring during their PLCs all of the ways they can utilize the Three Signature Practices to build positive, safe and inclusive learning environments. Our SEL team loved hearing all of their ideas and possible ways to implement!

The SEL team loves to work alongside mentors and Beginning Teachers at Support on Site meetings. We enjoyed exploring CASEL’s Three Signature Practices Playbook to find ways to enhance student discourse and engagement. Thank you, Trask Middle School for this collaboration!

Our SEL Team is so thankful for opportunities to dive into the five competencies of social emotional learning. This week we were with the Mighty Mustangs of Forest Hills GES! Thank you for investing in your staff by promoting Adult SEL.

The SEL Team is always excited to collaborate with Beginner Teachers and mentors! We had a great time at The International School at Gregory exploring CASEL’s Three Signature Practices and coming up with ways to modify and utilize these resources.

We had such a powerful learning experience cultivating resilience by utilizing the book and workbook, Onward, by Elena Aguilar. We are excited to see all of the ways these resources are used to build community and foster staff wellness.

The SEL team loved joining the Alderman Elementary to discuss various self-management strategies and explore resources for educator resiliency.

The health department will give tdap and meningo vaccines to students whose parents request them at the end of April in school. It will be between April 25-27. Once that is scheduled, we will update you on the exact date and time. #traskmiddle

This is week our SEL team had powerful conversations at Williston Tigers Support On Site meeting to promote educator resilience. We love to see our Beginning Teachers and mentors continue to grow together. Beth Whittington

Congratulations to Wilmington Early College HS for completing the 5-part adult social emotional learning series yesterday afternoon! Your amazing staff has engaged in powerful activities and conversations about ways we can support the comprehensive growth of those we lead.

We were excited to present this morning a session about cultivating educator resilience at the NHCS Summer Institute. We look forward to seeing the ways they foster their own resilience and the resilience of those they lead.

This morning at the NHCS Summer Institute, we led a session exploring the Three Signature Practices of Welcoming Activities, Engaging Strategies, and Optimistic Closures. Participants shared meaningful ways they can integrate these practices into their roles.

School administrators, staff, and community members participate in a gallery walk to share innovative and effective strategies for building authentic family partnerships. We loved fostering these important collaborations at the NHCS Summer Institute this afternoon.
