Every effort counts in the fight against maternal mortality. Improving access to quality healthcare and raising awareness will help save lives and build a healthier future for all.

A major problem limiting economic development and progress is maternal mortality. Nigeria still faces difficulties in the reducing mortality rates.

Key stakeholders and Nigerians in general must work together to increase access to pre and postnatal care and accomplish SDG 3.1 by 2030.
