With critical tax issues like TCJA extension & OECD negotiations on the horizon, we urge the Senate to quickly advance Ken Kies’ nomination following today’s hearing to serve as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Department for Tax Policy.

Congratulations to NFTC Board Member CaterpillarInc on reaching a terrific milestone — 100 years! A century of creating the products and services that help build our country’s infrastructure and much more. #Caterpillar100

With Senate Finance Cmte’s advancement of Ken Kies’ nomination to serve as A/S Treasury Department for Tax Policy, we urge the Senate to move expeditiously on his confirmation. Ken’s leadership will be invaluable as we continue to consider key tax policy decisions, including TCJA extension.

Thanks to Senator Thom Tillis for taking up the international tax helm with the introduction of the ‘International Competition for American Jobs Act,' which makes much needed improvements to our international tax rules and enhances competitiveness of U.S. businesses.

Congratulations to Ken Kies on his confirmation as Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy at Treasury Department. We look forward to working together to advance pro-growth tax policies, tackle global tax challenges, and strengthen U.S. business competitiveness.

Thank you to Rep. Scott Fitzgerald for introducing legislation targeting the DMA and other regulatory practices in Europe. Any trade deal with the EU must make progress on getting U.S. companies out from under these burdensome regulations and prevent future measures.

The One Big Beautiful Bill is now law! Thank you to President Trump The White House & all those involved in this effort for advancing a growth-oriented tax framework that strengthens competitiveness and provides certainty to U.S. businesses. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to William Kimmitt on his confirmation as Under Secretary U.S. Commerce Dept. for International Trade. We look forward to working with him & his team to strengthen the competitiveness of U.S. companies at home and abroad.
