Team 14 received an interactive Road Safety session yesterday at Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service, which involved 2 team members participating as casualties in a RTC. An outstanding session, expertly delivered by one of our crews.

Team 14 conducted their Community Project this week; de-weeding a section of the Community Garden at Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service. They also planted ferns and bedding plants around one of the seating areas. We are eternally grateful to the team for their efforts.

Team 14 enjoyed their residential in the Lake District where they took part in hiking, archery, canoeing, abseiling and ghyll-scrambling. A great opportunity to gel as a group.

Team 13 supported the Elderberries group at Alnwick Garden by making personalised, hand-crafted Easter cards. The group was rewarded for their efforts with an excellent guided tour of the Poison Garden.

Yesterday, Team 13 completed their Community Project by putting the finishing touches to the Northumberland Bees apiary at The Alnwick Garden. Great effort by all.

Today, we helped The Alnwick Garden charity improve their beehive area. We dug up weeds, levelled the soil, measured and laid membrane, added gravel before adding some planters. Great effort by all.
