Same rules as non-playoffs (record followed by strength of schedule) except teams that go further in the playoffs get later picks:
1-18: non-playoff teams
19-24: wildcard round losers
25-28: divisional round losers
29-30: conf champ losers
31: SB loser
32: SB winner

With the MIA loss, MIA is locked to the 6 seed. They will travel to KC for the first round of the playoffs. #MIAvsBUF

With the BUF win, PIT is locked into the 7 seed. PIT will travel to BUF for the first round of the playoffs. #BUFvsMIA

With the BUF win, BUF has clinched the AFC East division title and the 2 seed in the AFC. #BUFvsMIA

What to watch for in game 272 between BUF & MIA:
1) If MIA wins, MIA is the 2 seed, PIT is the 6 seed, and BUF is the 7 seed.
2) If BUF wins, BUF is the 2 seed, MIA is the 6 seed, and PIT is the 7 seed.
3) If they tie, MIA is the 2 seed BUF is the 6 seed, and PIT is the 7 seed.

It affects the SoS (which is why I cropped out the SoS column for the picture), but not in a meaningful way that would change the order of any of the teams. (DEN & LV are tied in SoS, which is why my first post stopped at 11, but it turns out BUF/MIA affects them identically)
