ICT is on the ground at the US Supreme Court where the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) is being challenged in Haaland v. Brackeen and three combined cases. VIDEO: People are waiting in line hoping to hear oral arguments in the Supreme Court on Nov. 9.

Justice Gorsuch just now getting at the concern many tribal nations have if ICWA is struck down: the threat it represents to tribal sovereignty. "There'll be a lot that would be eaten out of Title 25. We'd be busy for the next many years striking things down."
