𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮 Today, the ND Youth Tour group visited the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, where they learned about the millions of lives lost and the dangers of hatred, silence and indifference.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮 Day Two was one for the books! North Dakota Youth Tour delegates explored came face-to-face with legends like the Enola Gay and Space Shuttle Discovery. After that? A scenic stroll by the Reflecting Pool and a game at Nationals Park.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟯 The North Dakota Youth Tour group had a truly unforgettable day on Capitol Hill. They had the honor of meeting with North Dakota’s U.S. senators, Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven, and touring the U.S. Capitol.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟰 The North Dakota Youth Tour group visited the White House and explored The People's House: A White House Experience. The interactive museum tells the story of the Executive Mansion and its inhabitants.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟱 The North Dakota Youth Tour took a step back in time at Gettysburg. Students visited the cyclorama, explored the museum and stood on a battlefield that forever changed our nation.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟲 On their last full day in D.C., the North Dakota Youth Tour delegates visited FBI headquarters, paid their respects at Arlington National Cemetery and explored iconic exhibits at the Smithsonian museums.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗡𝗗 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥 | 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟳 After a truly incredible week, the North Dakota Youth Tour came to an end. Before heading home, the group stopped by Ted’s Bulletin for Ted’s Tarts, an iconic D.C. treat, and visited the pandas at the National Zoo.

The N.D. Member Services Association held its summer meeting in Carrington this week. The agenda included cooperative network updates, roundtable discussions, key account tours and a presentation by Troy White, Upstream, that inspired everyone to find clarity amidst life’s chaos.

On Aug. 14, John Gasstrom and Janelle Linehan, Delaware County Electric Cooperative, toured the Lineworker Training Center. The New York cooperative is exploring the possibility of developing a similar facility to strengthen its collaboration with a local community college.
