We had several EOCs participate this week for a virtual EOC/cyber/fusion tabletop! Over 3 days, each EOC was able to discuss with their respective fusion center. Thanks to all who participated in these virtual tabletops!

New fiscal year…annual 101 training! Thanks to all who joined us at the cog yesterday for Homeland Security Grants 101 overview in the morning and/or EP101 overview in the afternoon.

Today is National First Responder Day! We express our gratitude to our First Responders who serve selflessly, side by side, everyday, ready to help, no matter the situation, to protect and serve our communities.

This morning REPAC came together to prioritize all the working groups grant projects for next year.

We are less than a year from our big multi day multi jurisdictional regional exercise - MetroX! Lots of great work today by the regional planning team led by NCTCOG EP, FEMA National Exercise Program, and the Olson Group.

This past week the agency put together a fire drill so we could test notification systems, evacuation procedures, evacuation chairs, and outdoor assembly points and accountability. Great drill safety teams!

Last week the DFW Metroplex EM, VOAD, COAD annual meeting was held at DFW Airport. So many of our volunteer organizations and EMs attended to learn more about recovery and emergency planning and how to better work together!
