We have published a report on Suicide by people in contact with drug and alcohol services. In this, we make recommendations for practice to improve safety for people under the care of drug and alcohol services. manchester.ac.uk/ncish/reports/… #NCISH2024
We have previously examined suicide in older adult patients. Clinical services should be aware of the lower rate of contact w/ specialist MH care in this age grp, different patterns of clinical risk, lower rates of self-harm & substance misuse. sites.manchester.ac.uk/ncish/reports/… #NCISH2024
