Philip Streff pins in the second period of his 120 semifinal to become North Bend’s first state qualifier of the day. 🐯🤼‍♂️🧷

Philip Streff dominates his district final and ends it with a pin. 🧷 Cash Stanek trailed his whole finals match until taking a lead with a takedown with 38 second left to win 8-7. The pair of district champs will represent NBC at the state meet next week. 🐯🤼‍♂️🥇🥇

Day 2 of girls state wrestling: Peyton Jacobsen stays alive with a second round pin. She advances to the second round of consolations. 🐯🤼‍♂️🧷

Madilyn Reese was trailing in her match when she hit a sudden move and seconds later had a pin. All three Tigers will be in the consolation second round. 🐯🤼‍♂️🧷

Daugherty built a 7-0 lead then had to hang on in the final 30 seconds to win 7-4. She advances to the third round of consolations. Needs one more win to medal. 🐯🤼‍♂️

Boys state wrestling is under way. Philip Streff opens with a 17-1 technical fall win. He advances to the quarterfinals. 🐯🤼‍♂️

Philip Streff wins his second match with a pin just over a minute in. He moves onto Friday night’s semifinals and has locked up his second state medal. 🐯🤼‍♂️🧷🏅

Cash Stanek wins his quarterfinal match 7-2. He will join Streff in the semifinals tomorrow night. Both Tigers will medal. 🐯🤼‍♂️🏅🏅 The two Tigers also have NBC in sixth place as a team currently in Class C.

Philip rides on top in the second, then gets him flipped for a pin. Streff shall return to the state finals. 🐯🤼‍♂️

Both Philip Streff and Cash Stanek will be wrestling in Saturday’s Class C state championship matches.
