Today we remember Class of 2013 HOFer Herb Thomas on his birthday. Thomas was truly one of NASCAR’s first superstars, being the first to win two NASCAR premier series championships (1951, ’53) and was Darlington Raceway’s famed Southern 500 first three-time winner.
