"This trial is not born from hatred, far from it. It's born from love of country -- our country, our desire to maintain it, our desire to see America at its best," says Rep. Neguse during closing arguments of former President Trump's second impeachment trial.

An honor to work with my good friend and colleague Jamie Raskin, and such an extraordinary team. They each worked tirelessly to defend our constitution and our republic, for which I will be forever grateful.

I want to share this inspiring book about the events leading up to the 1960 election, from Dr. King's imprisonment to student activism in Atlanta to JFK's campaign. It's a story we can all learn from—a story of overlooked heroes and the power each of us has to create change.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of April G. Tyler, who fought tirelessly for equal housing and housing rights. We must continue the fight April began and ensure every New Yorker has access to fair, equitable housing.

Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp just said he’d veto a Republican proposal that would put a 30-day cap on a governor’s emergency orders during a public health emergency and empower the legislative branch to curtail the scope of his authority if it passes w/o changes. #gapol
