Attended the “For Our Freedom and Yours” North Ayrshire Heritage with our Veterans Champion to hear of 2 family histories, the polish input from Sean Szmalc’s exhibition & the first hand memory of the Whitley Bomber crash in Saltcoats Harbour from Mr Donald McCallum (97) #VEDay80



Good luck to team Irvine Royal Academy who are participating in a gaming contest against pupils from our Twin Town in France, Voisins - le - Bretonneux. Thanks to Mr Finnigan for leading the event and to Scottish Maritime Museum for letting us use their facilities. North Ayrshire Provost
