Iowa-Nebraska NAACP president Betty Andrews notes Iowa is the last state in the union to restore felon voting rights, says this will impact about 40,000 people and calls this is a step in the right direction. "This is a good thing, it's time," Andrew says before thanking Reynolds.
Drake Law School Professors Emeriti Russell Lovell and David Walker worked with Iowa-Nebraska NAACP for many years to restore felon voting rights in Iowa. They were there yesterday when Gov. Kim Reynolds signed an executive order granting those rights. Read more: conta.cc/2C9ja3K
