soft silk canzones

she flies to the bloomy skyscape

becomes the silver syllables
of an auburn moon song

its russet embers
kindle her soul's quilled longings

to the whispering rouge
of a nuptial serenade

In fluid glides of
bouncy wingbeats
you sough thru the grasslands-
waves of emerald mirth
in sways of silken barcaroles.

You whizz
thru the treetops
whirl them to your whimsies-
viridian yearnings,
withered dreams awaken.

Sibyllic sweeps,
springtide serenade of a
frisky breeze!

withered vermeils of a
winter-worn sky

fluorescent opals
scarlets in charmeuse trim

mystic sweeps of
crystal bonfire

blooms of flamingos
in a flaming symphony.

At the horizon
like echoes of a silken folk song

they fade into lulling scrawls of
a violescent skyline.

sylphic grail of a
night blooming jasmine –

in silver swells of silksong weaves
soft swirls of a mesmeric scent
effuses

curls to the
milky opal of the moonlit sky

amorous wisps of ecstasy...

a hawkmoth
roused, serenades a rhapsody –

a symphony of stardust and heartbeats

Lyrical lilts of
tourmaline warbles,
lustrous bursts of
sirenic birdsong.

In cerise embrace
they wrap me,
caress me in
emerald rhythm.

Rubescent curls of
troubadour mystery
windswept chants of
winter pipers - nightingales'
choral symphony.

In soft chimes

silent mourns of oblivion -
