Matt Braly has shared never-before-seen development artwork from his canceled feature film at Sony Pictures Animation. The project centered on a young boy who embarks on an emotional journey into a fantastical realm of Thai spirits, hoping to find a cure for his illness.

I was so touched by all the kind messages I received yesterday. It has given me a lot of encouragement for what will now be a big swing: My next animated project will be the first episode of a gothic horror interpretation of the Nutcracker called "Clara and the Below."

I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.
