Today, I called again for a ceasefire in Gaza, aligning with global calls to halt the slaughter by António Guterres, Archbishop of Canterbury, Pope Francis and many world leaders, including our allies. The deaths have surpassed 10,000, many of them children. This cannot be allowed to continue.

.Zarah Sultana MP’s treatment on Good Morning Britain was utterly unacceptable. She is one of the most high profile Muslim MPs, receiving daily abuse and death threats. To sneer at her as she makes the case for Islamophobia to be explicitly named and tackled is abhorrent.

Some people don't like the word 'Islamophobic'. I'm trying to think of another word that describes 'attacking a mosque' or 'attacking people because they "look Muslim".'
