Thanks to our wonderful Art Ambassadors who came out last week to explore the new Degas show at The Burrell Collection and who gave us valuable feedback on our art programme for secondary school. Thanks also to curator Pippa who gave all of us an excellent tour!

P3 won the junior Reading Mascot challenge 2023-2024. Along with a reading party, the class got to visit Goma and take part in a brilliant pop art workshop. Thank you to the amazing team Museums Learning #oakgrovelovesreading

Enjoyed exploring Pattern and Texture with primary teachers on Tuesday as part of our joint CPD programme with the Glasgow CREATE team. The participants all enjoyed getting creative whilst picking up some ideas to use back in class.

Pupils from Holyrood Secondary and Cathkin High schools enjoyed a tour of Garnethill Synagogue yesterday (despite the cold!). They are working together to host an event for HMD at St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art in January 2025.
