I recently eclipsed 100 games of #AdvancedSquadLeader against the same opponent, Nick. Here's a bit of a backgrounder to this adventure, all courtesy of Multi-Man Publishing and its wonderful game!
The final act of our Thunder on the Mississippi 'Siege Play' is picking up speed! The Army of Relief is chomping at the bit to cross the Big Black for a chance at assisting the Vicksburg garrison. #GCACW Multi-Man Publishing #wargaming youtu.be/O7ZzCaZOQFE

Inflection Point by Multi-Man Publishing Chir campaign, start of turn 13. Panzers are wearing out with the end-to-end action, responding to Soviet armored breakthroughs. The attrition in this game is brutal on both sides. A hotly contested battle on the frozen steppe.

Inflection Point by Multi-Man Publishing Chir campaign. December 13 turn. Campaign is reaching a critical point. Germans have some tough decisions…
Chir campaign tilts in the Soviet favor. December 14, 1942 is witnessing the death of the 11th Panzer. The combined weight of two Soviet tank corps has 11 “Panzer” down to a mere handful of tanks. Grandes campañas de Multi-Man Publishing en Club Batallador, con Balian de Ibelin. Final del primer turno: las cosas no pintan bien para la Unión, Hood es mucho Hood 🤭

Inflection Point by Multi-Man Publishing Chir campaign comes to an end. Germans made a strong play for a draw with a final all-out effort by remnants of 11 Panzer on the final turn. But 5 Mech and both Tank corps delivered the coup de grace to seal a 7pt Soviet minor victory.

Inflection Point, Chir campaign postmortem. The chief causes of the German defeat were (1) poor die rolls for replacements on at least 2 turns, and (2) overuse of 11th Panzer. Multi-Man Publishing
